As Deacons of Friendship P. B. Church, we are committed to serving God, the Pastor and all of God’s people. The Deacons Ministry realize that in order to be a good leader you must first be a good servant. A Deacon must be filled with the Holy Ghost, must have Wisdom and be of Honest report. He must be prepared to assist the Pastor in maintaining unity among the flock, and see that the Pastor’s physical needs are met in order that he may give full time to the gospel ministry. The Deacon is to report the welfare of the members to the Pastor and Deacon board, to serve tables during the Lord’s Supper, assist the Pastor in receiving tithes and offering and to conduct Deacons visits to church friends and family.
